In July 2003, Grafitti Hair Salon opened its doors for business. Niched as an upscale salon, Grafitti Hair quickly grew into an area attraction, thanks to the eclectic artwork that graced its walls. This feature, coupled with excellent service and some of the best hair and makeup artists in the Washington D.C. metro area has transformed Grafitti Hair into the household name it is today.
Since then, Grafitti Hair Salon has transformed into a 1,600 square foot facility that invites passers-by to “take a look inside”. For a few hours of their day, clients can escape the hustle and bustle and be pampered by highly-trained stylists and makeup artists.
As they walk in, clients are warmly greeted by friendly and helpful receptionists who collect client information and notify their stylist of their arrival. As they wait in the reception area, they are entertained by high-definition flat screen TVs or relaxing music in surround sound.
On the main floor, there are 5 Styling Stations and plenty of dryers so clients don’t have to wait with “wet hair”. The shampoo area boasts 3 Shampoo bowls with Auto-Recline Chairs. For our clients’ privacy and self-image, we also have a private room for lace wigs, weaves, roller setting, color treatment, prep work, etc.
Grafitti Hair Salon is proud to participate in various programs in the Washington D.C. metro area. Past events include Prom Expo, C. Alan Systems Makeup Symposium, Maryland Fashion Week, Teens Count and many more.
